ViewPort started as a way to stop eyeballing breakpoints one browser tab at a time. It grew into a local-first crawler and review surface that renders an entire site across every device you care about, at once.

Make the full picture the default view

Most design review tools show you one page on one device at a time. ViewPort's default view is the opposite: every page, every device, in a single grid — so a regression on page 12 of 40 is just as visible as one on the homepage.

Free & open source

MIT licensed, forever

ViewPort is free and open source under the MIT license. There is no paid tier, no usage limit, and no account wall — the desktop app and CLI are the whole product.

Local-first

Nothing leaves your machine

Crawling, rendering, diffing, and annotation all run on your computer. Sessions are stored locally in a database on disk. The only outbound network calls are to the site you're crawling and to check for app updates — zero telemetry, always.
